abstract | The invention discloses an all-dielectric tunable electromagnetic induction transparent metamaterial based on a quarter-cylinder structure. By utilizing the coupling effect among different module microstructures, a metamaterial is designed to realize the near-infrared band electromagnetic induction transparency phenomenon. The designed metamaterial is divided into an upper layer and a lower layer, the lower layer is a medium substrate, the unit structure of the upper layer is four quarter cylinders, and the four quarter cylinders are periodically arranged on the medium substrate. The invention can couple the quarter cylinders by designing the size parameters and materials of the quarter cylinders and the medium substrate, thereby realizing the electromagnetic induction transparent effect with high quality factor and high transmissivity in the near infrared band. The electromagnetic induction transparency effect has great significance for slow light devices, nonlinear devices, optical storage devices and high-sensitivity sensors. |
