abstract The invention provides a valve device which can restrain noise and abrasion and ensure sliding property, thereby realizing cost increase restraint, improvement of productivity, improvement of durability, improvement of functional reliability and the like. The valve device of the present invention comprises: a body (10) defining a passage through which a fluid flows; a shaft (20) supported movably relative to the body and defining an axis (S); a valve body (40) fixed to the shaft for opening and closing the passage; and a cylindrical bearing bush (50) that supports the shaft so as to be movable relative to the main body, the bearing bush (50) including: a mixed region (A0) in which the metal core material (51) and the expanded graphite (52) are mixed; and a first expanded graphite region (A1) which is formed only of expanded graphite (52) in an inner peripheral region that is in contact with the outer peripheral surface (20a) of the shaft, so as to avoid exposure of the metal core material (51).
