abstract The invention provides an acidic digital printing pretreatment agent and a preparation method thereof, wherein the acidic digital printing pretreatment agent comprises the following components in parts by mass: 5-10 parts of modified cellulose; 5-10 parts of modified carboxymethyl guar gum; 10-20 parts of a connecting agent; 3-8 parts of a synergist; 52-77 parts of a filler; wherein the modified cellulose is obtained by crosslinking reaction of a crosslinking agent and cellulose; the modified carboxymethyl guar gum is obtained by modifying the carboxymethyl guar gum by using a cationic etherifying agent and a diepoxy terminated polyether. The acidic pretreatment agent for digital printing has the advantages of excellent digital printing depth, definition, uniformity, hand feeling and fastness, low consumption and good stability.
