abstract | The load-resistant trousers are partly double-walled and partly single-walled, made of breathable, tear-resistant, flame-resistant and stretch-resistant synthetic fabric material up to 130 g/m2. An airtight pocket (13, 18, 34, 35) is thereby formed in the double walled region which, when inflated from an automatic pressure supply, acts as a pneumatic muscle and contracts, pulling adjacent single-ply fabric sheets towards each other. In this way, pressure is applied to the entire surface of the pilot's body. The pockets (34) on the outside of the trouser legs extend up against the lower belly to the corresponding pockets (13) and are connected via the inguinal channel (18) to the pockets (35) for the inside of the trouser legs. The pockets (34) communicate on the rear side of the trousers via connecting channels. From here, in the lower rear region, the coccyx tunnel runs down between the wearer's buttocks. The front and back sides of the pant legs hold the fabric strips (14). They are breathable and allow body heat to escape. |
