Liquid Hybrid UV/Vis Radiation Curable Resin Compositions for Additive Manufacturing |
abstract |
Liquid radiation curable compositions are disclosed that are suitable for mixing (i.e., cationic and Radical Polymerization. According to one aspect, the composition has a first photoinitiator that is an iodonium salt of a non-fluorinated borate anion. According to another aspect, the composition is substantially free of Norrish Type I and/or Type II photoinitiators. Also disclosed are methods of making three-dimensional parts by an additive manufacturing process utilizing a liquid radiation curable composition suitable for hybrid polymerization using an actinic radiation source having peak spectral intensity in the UV/Vis region, and disclosed Parts cured by the method described. |
