The advantages are that the low tension side power supply surge protector is of a star structure, which solves the disadvantages that a surge protector on the current market is easy to age and has large leakage current; the cooperation of the gas discharge tube module and the zinc oxide module increases a protection mode of the surge protector, thereby proving a phase and phase transverse protection (difference module protection) mode based on a phase and ground vertical protection ( common module protection) mode.
