abstract An aluminum-wood secondary beam is connected between a main beam and a concrete structure. The outer contour of the aluminum-wood secondary beam is a rectangular section. The aluminum-wood secondary beam comprises two lateral ribs, an upper transverse rib, a lower transverse rib, an upper vertical rib and two lower vertical ribs. The bottom of each lateral rib is right-angled and bends inwardly. The upper portions of the two lateral ribs are connected with the upper transverse rib to form an upper opening for being connected with a batten. The two lower vertical ribs and the lower transverse rib are connected and enclose to for connecting grooves, with downward openings, at the bending parts of the two lateral ribs. The upper vertical rib is parallel with the lateral ribs and connected between the upper transverse rib and the lower transverse rib. The aluminum-wood secondary beam is regular and straight in appearance, lightweight, high in bearing capacity, reusable, low in distribution expense, and universal in construction horizontal structures and vertical-structured formwork projects.
