abstract |
The present invention is related to the coatings industry and more specifically to the base materials manufacturing industry for paints and even more specifically, to the base materials manufacturing industry with inorganic materials. Our invention has, with respect to the state of technical lb the following advantages: characteristics of covering, improved dyeing power and whiteness, allows an adequate handling thereof even with a high concentration of solids made with less expensive materials. Said composition is characterized by comprising in its kaolin composition with a particle size distribution: 88 to 98% of the particles must be smaller than 2 microns and only 10 to 30% must be smaller than 0.2 microns; and calcium carbonate with a particle size distribution such that 88 to 96% are smaller than 2 microns and 4 to 14% are smaller than 0.2 microns. |
