The invention concerns 4-benzoyl-pyrazoles of formula (I), in which the variables have the following meanings: R<1>, R<2> stand for hydrogen, nitro, halogen, cyano, rhodano, alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, -OR<5>, -OCOR<6>, -OSO2R<6>, -SH, -S(O)nR<7>, -SO2OR<5>, -SO2NR<5>R<8>, -NR<8>SO2R<6> or -NR<8>COR<6>; R<3> stands for hydrogen, cyano, alkyl, halogen alkyl, -OR<7>, -SR<7> or -NR<7>R<10>; R<4> stands for hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, alkinyl, -COR<9>, -CO2R<9>, -COSR<9> or -CONR<8>R<9>; X stands for oxygen or NR<8>; n equals 0, 1 or 2; R<5> stands for hydrogen, alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl or alkinyl; R<6> stands for alkyl or halogen alkyl; R<7> stands for alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkenyl or alkinyl; R<8> stands for hydrogen or alkyl; R<9> stands for alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, phenyl or benzyl; R<10> stands for alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkenyl or alkinyl; Q stands for optionally substituted pyrazol linked in position 4.
