titleOfInvention Continuous casting between two rollers
abstract Continuous casting device between two cylinders (1, 2) with parallel axes that define a molten metal casting space between each other and between two fixed side walls (3), each side wall (3) comprising at least one side portion (6) positioned against a planar face of one of the cylinders (1, 2) and formed by a disk portion having an outer diameter equal to the diameter of the adjacent cylinder (1, 2), and a central portion (12) against said casting space of refractory insulating material. Said disk portion is formed of a material having thermal conductivity and mechanical resistance higher than said refractory insulation material. A portion of the conical disk whose face has the largest radius of curvature is located at the cylinder (1, 2). The conical surface (8) is in contact with the insulating material of the central portion (12)
