titleOfInvention | A method for producing a neutron absorption coating produced by a nuclear reaction of a radioactive material and an absorbent element comprising a coating made by a method thereof |
abstract | The method for producing a neutron absorption coating produced by a nuclear reaction of radioactive material is carried out by providing at least a portion of the sheathing element consisting of the base material in a dispersion bath with a layer formed from the element with a large microscopic effective cross-section capable of being trapped in its dispersion bath. a neutron and an electrolytically or autocatalytically excretable metal element. During the coating process, at least temporarily a relative movement is formed between the surface to which the coating is applied and the dispersion bath. The large microscopic effective cross-sectional element is present in the dispersion bath in the electrically conductive compound and is deposited in the coating in an amount of greater than 20% by volume. The absorbent element comprising the coating in this way then consists of an inorganic base material with a coating layer formed thereon. an element with a large microscopic effective cross section capable of capturing neutrons and an electrolytically or autocatalytically excretable metal element, the element having a large microscopic effective cross section capable of trapping neutrons occupied by an amount of greater than 20% by volume. |
