| abstract | Apparatus for producing binder material plates, consisting of a conveyor (7) for transferring material (1, 2, 3) over a plurality of processing stations including: a molding station for spreading a binder material onto a conveyor (7) to form a reinforcement mat; a degassing station (8) for compressing the reinforcement mat and for ejecting air from the reinforcement mat and press station (10, 20) to exert pressure on the mat during solidification of the binder material, wherein the degassing station (8) includes a barrier (23, 27, 30, 31) 60, 50, 40, 41) to prevent expansion of the reinforcement mat in an orthogonal direction and in a process direction in which the mat is compressed during its compression. The invention also provides a method of manufacturing a plate using the claimed device. |
