The derivatives of formula (I) wherein A (1), A (2), A (3) are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1-4. alkyl, alkoxy, methylenedioxy, fornyl, or trifluoromethyl. These derivatives exhibit, for example, an ATP-sensitive potassium channel inhibitory effect in the heart muscle and / or the heart nerve and are useful, for example, for treating cardiovascular disorders such as coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, cardiac insufficiency or cardiomyopathy or preventing sudden cardiac death; to improve decreased heart contractility. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of a compound of the formula I and to the use of pharmaceutical compositions containing these derivatives. |
