abstract Process and device for the thermal catalytic cleavage of hot sulfur and hydrocarbon-containing raw gases. The invention can be used for all sulfur and hydrocarbon-containing raw gases from the degassing and gasification. The object of the invention is to reduce the expenditure on equipment and the operating costs in the thermal-catalytic cracking of hot sulfur-containing raw gases. The inventive solution provides that hot sulfur-containing crude gas is passed through a Schuettung of non-sulfur-resistant cracking catalysts, from which a partial stream of catalyst withdrawn, oxidized, heated and then fed back to the Katalysatorschuettung.
