Method for transmitting data packets via a TDMA data transmission link |
abstract |
A method of transmitting data packets over a TDMA communication link subject to a series of interference bursts caused by segment B radiation, wherein a period of the segment B radiation consists of two strong energy bursts of about 1 ms Duration exists at the beginning and at the end of that half cycle of alternating voltage during which a microwave magnetron is fed, characterized by the following steps: Detecting a time sequence of received errors relating to a phase of an AC voltage source which serves to supply a base unit, Detecting a timing of received errors with respect to the phase of the AC voltage source, - determining that a segment B interference source is active, Setting an increase mode of operation with respect to the base unit and a wireless telephone handset when the received errors occur at a timing consistent with respect to the phase of the AC power source, a first copy of the data packet within a first assigned time slot on the wireless communication link and a redundant copy of the data packet within one second assigned timeslot on ... |
