The invention relates to a sliding element of an adjusting device of a motor vehicle, which is provided and arranged to move relative to a further sliding element (7) during operation of the adjusting device, so that a sliding surface (20) of the sliding element (2) along a sliding surface (70 ) of the further sliding element (7), wherein the sliding element (2) consists at least partially of a plastic matrix which is provided with a silicon compound in order to reduce the sliding resistance when sliding one sliding surface (20, 70) along the other sliding surface (70, 20 ) to reduce. According to the invention, the silicon compound is connected to a plastic contained in the plastic matrix such that it remains permanently in the plastic matrix and does not escape from the sliding element (2) when one sliding surface (20, 70) slides along the other sliding surface (70, 20). The invention further relates to a sliding mating, a method for producing a sliding element and the use of a modified polyoxymethylene-containing composition. |
