titleOfInvention | Electrical connection arrangement as a power distribution circuit |
abstract | An electrical connection arrangement as a power distribution circuit, comprising: a substrate (12) having first and second sides (14, 16) and substrate openings (18) formed therein, the substrate (12) being made of an electrically non-conductive material; a bus bar (20) mounted on the first side (14) of the substrate (12), the bus bar (20) being made of an electrically conductive material and having a plurality of bus bar openings (26) formed in the bus bar (20); at least one conductive trace (30) formed on the second side (16) of the substrate (12) and configured to connect components or circuits mounted on or connected to the substrate (12), the conductive trace (30 ) consists of an electrically conductive material; a plurality of electrical connectors (40, 50, 52) each having one or two pins (42) disposed in each of a substrate opening (18) and a bus bar opening (26), the pin (42 ) or the pins (42) in electrical connection with the busbar (20) and the conductor track (30) is or stand; wherein the thickness of the trace (30) adjacent each pin (42) is less than the thickness of the busbar (20) adjacent that pin (42), such that the busbar (20) is configured to transmit relatively high current and Conductor (30) is designed to transmit relatively weak current. |
