Optical component and method for its production |
abstract |
The invention relates to an optical component (1) which is reversibly variable in its transparency by an electrical potential, comprising a first transparent support layer (2), a first electrode (4) arranged thereon, and a fluid layer (6) disposed thereon Suspended particles, a second electrode (5) arranged thereon and a second carrier layer (3) arranged thereon. The component (1) is characterized in that at least one of the electrodes (4, 5) is formed as an inert metallic grid. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a component. |
