abstract A camera washing apparatus comprising an air pump 10, a washing water tank 20 storing washing water, a spray nozzle 13 having a spraying section 13a, a joining fitting 11 having a high pressure air passage 11a and a washing water passage 11b, and an electromagnetic valve 12. The air pump 10 generates and supplies High pressure air to the high pressure air passage 11a. When the control part 15 instructs the electromagnetic valve to be in an open state, the washing water and the high-pressure air in the merging connector 11 are mixed, so that water particles are generated. The generated water particles are fed to the spray nozzle 13. When the electromagnetic valve 12 is switched to the open state after spraying only high pressure air on an objective 14a of a rear camera 14, the spraying section 13b sprays the water particles onto the objective 14a of the camera 14.
