| abstract |
An assembly of an electrical connector includes a base having a body including a first end and a second end. First and second opposing base beams extend from the first end of the body in a first direction. A spring clip has a clip base and first and second opposed cantilevers extending from the clip base in the first direction and disposed over the first and second base bars, biasing the first and second base bars toward each other. The body of the base is configured to allow the spring clip to be inserted onto the base in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. |
