The invention relates to powders of coated PVD metallic effect pigment, highly concentrated slurries of coated PVD metallic effect pigment and their use in powder coatings and masterbatches. The powder of coated PVD metallic effect pigments according to the invention is distinguished by a very good redispersibility and is outstandingly suitable in particular for producing highly concentrated slurries. It is also very free-flowing, essentially free of agglomerates and leads to coatings with excellent metallic gloss. |
