abstract |
A power transmission fluid comprising a major amount of lubricating oil and a minor amount of additive composition. The additive composition comprises: (a) friction modifier having the formula: (b) oil-soluble phosphorus compound and (c) ashless dispersant; wherein R 1 and R 2 may be the same or different and represent linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon groups having 8 to 20 carbon atoms. Z represents a polyoxyalkylene segment or a polyalkoxylated alkylamine segment. The friction modifiers provide the fluid with improved compatibility with fluoroelastomer seals and increased copper corrosion compatibility. |
