abstract |
The invention relates to a method for operating a control device (12) as a bus subscriber on a bus network (11), wherein the control device (12) has a microcontroller (15) with a processor unit (20) and a bus controller cell (19) and for a sleep mode ( SL) the processor unit (20) is stopped. The invention provides that when the processor unit (20) is stopped, the bus controller cell (19) receives bus messages (18) from the bus network (11), the bus controller cell (19) stores at least some of the received bus messages (18) in a memory (30), the processor unit (20) is activated at predetermined times and checks whether in the memory (30) a wake-up message (33) for the control unit (12) is included, and in this case the control unit (12) of the sleep mode (SL) a wake-up mode changes and otherwise the processor unit (20) is stopped again. |
