abstract The invention relates to an x-ray imaging device comprising a detection unit, having an x-ray detector and a scattered radiation collimator in a stacked arrangement with the x-ray detector, and an x-ray source in opposition to the detection unit. The X-ray source is designed to emit X-rays in the direction of the X-ray detector starting from a focus. The X-ray detector has a sensor plane and is divided into a plurality of detector elements at least along a first direction, each detector element of the plurality of detector elements being designed to convert the X-ray radiation incident on a surface area of the sensor plane assigned to the detector element into an electrical pixel measurement signal.
