| abstract |
The invention relates to a headliner (1) for a vehicle, in particular for a motor vehicle, with at least one decorative layer (11) assigned to a vehicle interior (12) in the assembled state of the headliner (1) and at least one hard carrier layer (14) as a shape-stabilizing stabilizing layer. According to the invention, on the upper side of the headliner (1) facing a vehicle roof (9) in the assembled state of the headliner (1), at least in some areas at least one energy absorption layer (2) formed integrally with the headliner (1) is provided. A method is also proposed with which a molded headliner (20), in particular a molded headliner (20) with an integrated energy absorption layer (23), can be produced. |
