Bearing part, heat treatment method and rolling bearings |
abstract |
A bearing member having a long life against rolling contact fatigue, and excellent anti-cracking strength, which is limited in age-related dimensional change, a heat treatment method thereof, and a rolling bearing containing the bearing member are achieved. Steel for a bearing member (1, 2, 3) is subjected to carbonitriding at a carbonitriding temperature (T 1 ) exceeding the A 1 transition temperature and cooled to a temperature lower than the A 1 transition temperature. The steel is reheated to a cure temperature (T 2 ) that is not lower than the A 1 transition temperature but lower than the carbonitriding temperature and then cured. |
