titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method for a polarization inversion unit |
abstract | A method of manufacturing a polarization inversion part by an electric field polarization process using a comb electrode (3) having a plurality of electrode sections (5) and a feed section (2) provided on a surface of a single-ferroelectric single crystal substrate (8) wherein each of the electrode portions (5) has a base portion (6) extending from the feeding portion (2) and a plurality of conductive portions (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) separated from the respective base portion (6) conductive portions (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of each electrode portion (5) are separated by gaps (10), the conductive portion (5a) of the conductive portions (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of each electrode portion (5) the base portion (6) of each electrode portion (5) is closest to the base portion (6) separated by a gap (10), and wherein the conductive Abs 5b) has a shorter length at the respective tip end of each of the electrode sections (5) than the length of the conductive section (5a) closest to the respective base section (6). |
