| abstract |
The tube cleaning device has a rotor (3) mounted on a stator (1). The rotor is driven by the cleaning fluid. The device includes cleaning jets (9) through which the cleaning fluid is sprayed. A braking device (15-17) is fitted between the rotor and the stator or between parts (2,4) fixed to them. The braking effect increases as the revs. increase. The braking device may consist of a vortex-flow brake with a permanent magnet (15,18) in one surface and a copper part (16,19) with steel backing (17,21) in the opposite surface. |
