abstract The circuit performs time recovery using a phase-locked-loop circuit with a quartz oscillator (VCXO). A conventional component on an existing circuit board can be replaced by the above component. The arrangement produces an improved jitter-free clock signal which is required for correct conversion of the digital audio signal in the analogue domain.
