| abstract |
A continually-operated food baking oven has an elongated baking chamber within which a conveyer belt moves food from one end to the other. Heat is radiated to the food from above and below from hot gases passing through heat channels. The oven also has hot gas extractors (7, 8) recovering effluent or waste heat, and heating towers (9) above the baking chamber. A heat exchanger and gas filter (13) are installed between the heating towers above the baking chamber, and linked with the heat extractor (7, 8) and smoke extractor (10) passages. The heating towers (9) are linked to a water reservoir (6) and steam generator (5). |
