| abstract |
The method involves feeding the viscous clay paste (1) from a metering feed (6) over stitching guides (10) and through cycling valves (10) to multiple , i.e. at least two, clay lances (11). The lances are positioned in the combustion chamber (12) or coal mill (13) and are supplied intermittently by the cycling valves. The cycling time of the one valve (14) in from of the clay lance is controlled in dependence on the discharge temperature of the coal mill and in dependence on the pressure of the paste upstream of the clay lance. |
