abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing glycidyl (meth)acrylate copolymers having a molar mass (Mn) of 1,000 to 6,000 g/mol by means of solvent-free and continuous copolymerization of glycidyl (meth)acrylate with ethylene unsaturated monomers in the presence of a polyester oligomer in a reaction vessel with feeding and withdrawing devices, whereby polyester oligomer or a mixture of glycidyl (meth)acrylate copolymer and polyester oligomer is produced in a weight relationship of 95:5 to 50:50 and the glycidyl (meth)acrylate is dosed to additional monomers, to an additional polyester oligomer and to optional radical initiators. The dosing and the withdrawal of the produced copolymers results such that the desired composition which is to be formed attains a necessary residence time, whereby, in the case of the mixture made of glycidyl (meth)acrylate copolymer and polyester oligomer, the mixture is dosed such that the relationship of copolymer to oligomer remains unchanged. |
