A two-part hair colorant comprising a first portion containing an alkalizing agent, a second portion containing hydrogen peroxide, and a non-aerosol type foaming agent vessel for dispensing a liquid mixture of the first and second portions in foam form, the liquid mixture being a carboxylate type anionic surfactant which is selected from an N-acylamino acid salt, an N-acyl-N-alkylamino acid salt, an amide-type N-acylamino acid salt, an ether carboxylic acid salt, and a salt of an alkyl succinic acid or alkenyl succinic acid. |
