| abstract | The device is for detachable fitting and control of a snowplough on a lorry raised and lowered by a double-action cylinder. This has its own pressure reservoir and one or more control valves for optional connection with one or both cylinder chambers, and lead from reservoir to overflow valve. The reservoir (41) is mounted on the snowplough, and there is a detachable pipe coupling (412, 413) in the connecting lead (411). There is an electromagnetic drive for the forward-mounted control valve (42). In the driving position there is a switch for control valve operation, and a detachable cable link (51-56) between switch and valve. This accelerates and facilitates fitting or dismantling, while affording a high level of reliability. |
