| abstract |
The high water level protection dam can be raised if necessary. The dam is raised rapidly and in its normal state the shape does not distrub the appearance of the landscape. The raised section can in fact be decorated to match the landscape. On the fixed part of the dam a loose section is mounted which rests on the step provided on the fixed dam. The joints are sealed effectively after the additional section has been placed in the raised position. The fixed part of the dam can be made from concrete or from masonry. |
