| abstract |
The star wheel is for use in water power installations comprising a turbine and a generator, has several outwardly extending radial arms. Each arm has two supports on different sides of the shaft area and tangential to it, each component of the supports being a further arm. The vertical middle planes of the arms having a common support form an angle which differing from 180 deg., and the supports are firmly connected to each other at their cross point. The arms have at their outer ends, radial and tangential bearing structures. The supports each have a stay (21) and an upper and lower vertical strap. |
