The solar heat collector has a housing with a translucent cover and accommodating an absorber section through which a heat-transfer fluid flows. The cover has on the inside a selective infra-red reflective coating. This coating, which effectively allows the visible light to pass through unweakened, can have a degree of reflectivity greater than 0.7 in the wavelength between 3 and 12 mu. The absorber section, pref. metallic, can have an absorption coating, for which the ratio of the absorption coefft. to the emission coefft. is >6, typically of black chrome or nickel. |
