titleOfInvention | Process for the production of steam-hardened aerated concrete |
abstract | Steam-hardened gas concrete is prepd. from a mixt. of lime and cement as binder with a preponderant amt. of lime, silicate-contg. additive(s) and sufficient calcium sulphate(s) that the final total sulphate content, (expressed as SO3) is 2-5 wt.% of the ignition loss free dry material; (part of) the components lime, cement, silicate-contg. additive and calcium sulphate are milled together before processing the mixt. into steam hardened gas concrete. Concrete with improved properties is obtd. by milling (part of) the silicate-contg. additive and calcium sulphate together. Partic. good results are obtd. if the whole of the silicate-contg. additive and calcium sulphate are milled together. |
