New isoquinoline derivs. are cpds. of formula (I) and their physiologically tolerable salts. where each R1 (same or different) is H, 1-lC alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 1-6C alkylthio, phenyl, benzyloxy, methylenedioxy, halogen, CF3, OH, NO2, amino, 1-6C alkoxycarbonyl or sulphamoyl; n is 1-3; R2 and R3 are H, phenyl, benzyl or opt. branched 1-6C alkyl; and R4 is phenyl, furyl, thienyl or pyridyl substd. by (R1)n. (I) have hypotensive and antiarrhythmic activity. Intermediates for (I) which are new have the same pharmacological properties. |
