abstract Latent heat-storage material based on Na2HPO4.12H2O, (I) also contains, by wt., 0.05-0.15% gelatin, 1.3-3.5% water and opt. 2.5% glycerol, each w.r.t. (I). The heat-storage material is used in solar energy collector systems. In an example, the attn. of 0.043g gelatin, 0.5-1 ml. water and 0-0.5 ml glycerol to 30g (I) prevented the formation of the 7-hydrate even after 10,000 melt crystallisation cycles, each lasting 20 mins.
