Set of underground mine workings is created and >=1 pref. three, galleries, drilling injection and mining holes formed. A heat transfer agent is introduced through these holes into the petroleum bed to heat it to a temp. at which the petroleum acquires the necessary fluidity. The heat transfer agent is introduced in the injection holes for its regular distribution over the whole vol. of the petroleum bed and for the expulsion of the petroleum through the mining holes to the working gallery, from which the petroleum is brought to the surface. The mining holes are drilled in the upper and lower parts of the petroleum bed. The injection holes are drilled into the middle part of the petroleum bed. Heat transfer agent is afterwards introduced with force into the middle part of the petroleum bed through the injection holes and the petroleum is recovered from the upper and lower parts of the petroleum bed through the mining holes. Recovery of petroleum is improved because of the heating of the petroleum and its redn. in viscosity, its expansion and the increase in press. in the bed. The heating efficiency is high and productivity is increased by the increase in the frequencies of mining in the petroleum strata and the suspension of the vol. of mine workings in sterile rocks, not satd. with petroleum. |
