abstract The incineration is intended for agricultural waste with a moisture content below 60%, and comprising dust, and parts of relatively large size compared with the dust particles. The waste is directed by a compressed air operated injector (6) to a cyclone (7). From the cyclone the dust particles are blown into a combustion chamber (10) below the fire bed, while the larger parts are directed into the latter from the top (9). The combustion chamber can be vertical, with the bottom part formed by a funnel through which air is blown in at controlled pressure, giving a large amount of surplus air which holds the waste in suspension. From a point slightly above the funnel the inner chamber cross-section tapers steadily.
