Facsimile recording device for line-by-line recording of image information, a controllable optical component with pixel elements being provided from which light falls pixel-by-pixel on a recording medium along the length of a recording line. The pixel elements of the controllable optical component are divided into k lines each comprising m > 1 pixel elements and these k lines are shifted in parallel with one another. The 1, (k + 1), (2k + 1)... (nk + 1)th pixel element forms the first row, the 2, (k + 2), (2k + 2)... (nk + 2)th pixel element forms the second row and the k, 2k, 3k... nk-th pixel element forms the kth row, where n = o...m and the individual sub-rows are activated in chronological succession. |
