titleOfInvention | Exhaust gas heat exchanger |
abstract | In the case of a boiler or an industrial furnace, a temperature measuring sensor (15) is attached to the heat-absorbing side of a heating pipe (5) of a waste heat recovery device (1) which is arranged in a section of the exhaust gas discharge. A mass flow control valve (14) is controlled with the output signal of the temperature measuring sensor (15). A liquid discharge shield (18) is used to keep the flow rate of the liquid to be fed in corresponding to the flow rate of the liquid to be discharged. The effective area of the heating tubes (5) that comes into contact with the liquid is changed in order to keep the temperature on the heat-absorbing side higher than the dew point of the sulfur oxide. This prevents corrosion of the heating pipes (5) and the exhaust gas discharge lines (7) etc. In addition, the heat absorption process can be carried out in accordance with the exhaust gas routing temperature. |
