abstract For transporting used nuclear reactor fuel assemblies (22), flasks (1) which enclose a fuel assembly (22) gastightly can be used. They have a mechanically anchored cover (8) and, in addition, a sealing weld (25). According to the invention, fastened inside the flask (1) is a supporting disc (15), with play in relation to the cover (8).
