| abstract |
In a motor vehicle, the engine compartment of which has a through-flow of cooling air in the direction of travel from rear to front, the guidance and regulation of the cooling air are to be improved. To this end the engine fan and, on its pressure side, an engine cooler are arranged in series in a ventilation duct extending in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and sealing flaps are provided in this ventilation duct and/or the air intake apertures. A coolant cooler together with an electric fan may also be provided in the cooling air line. |
