titleOfInvention ARRANGEMENT FOR SOUND INSULATION
abstract The invention relates to an arrangement for the silencing of a machine (4) containing a chamber (2) with sound absorbing material (10). In order, for a small outlay on construction, to achieve good silencing on the one hand and to obtain reliable cooling of the machine (4) on the other, with minimisation of the weight and overall volume, it is proposed that in the chamber (2) there be a pipe (14) for liquid coolant, especially water, which can be delivered onto the housing of the engine (4). In addition, a discharge pipe (26) is arranged preferably in the base (24) of the chamber (2), in order to be able to drain the coolant in a simple manner. <IMAGE>
