titleOfInvention SELF-DISCHARGE HANGING ELECTROMAGNETIC IRON SEPARATOR
abstract The separator contains a direct current magnet 1 which has a magnet body 2 to which magnetising coils 3 and pole shoes 4 are attached. According to the invention, the direct current magnet 1 is provided with additional pole shoes 5 attached to the magnet body 2. A non-magnetic strip 17 extends beneath all the pole shoes 4 and 5 and over their whole width. Linear motors 10 are reciprocably arranged on the additional pole shoes 5 and are connected to the non-magnetic strip 17. <IMAGE>
