Compounds of formula (I): R<1>-(A<o>)k-(Z<1>-A<1>)m-Z<o>-(E)n-(Q)o-(Z<2>-A<2>)p-R<2> can be produced easily and in large quantities by transition metal catalysis from organotitanium compounds of formula (II): R<1>-(A<o>)-(Z<1>-A<1>)m-Z<o>-Ti(Y)3 and compounds of formula (III): X-(E)n-(Q)o-(Z<2>-A<2>)p-R<2>, where A<o>, A<1>, A<2>, E, R<1>, R<2>, Z<o>, Z<1>, Z<2>, Q, X, Y, k, m, n, o and p in formulae (I), (II) and (III) have the meaning given in the description. |
