titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR DETECTING INTERFERENCE IN LIQUID MEDIA
abstract A device is disclosed for the determination and demonstration of faults in liquid media such as aqueous solutions, which has an immersion probe, encapsulated in a liquid-tight manner, in which an ultraviolet light source and a lens system for light emitted by the light source are accommodated, and has an evaluation and display unit. Immersion probe and display unit are connected together by means of a cable transmitting electrical signals. The lens system of the immersion probe contains a measuring path with two windows arranged opposite each other in the housing of the immersion probe. Downstream of the measuring path in the immersion probe, a device is arranged for the decomposition of the ultraviolet light and for the separate pick-up of light of measured value wavelength and reference value wavelength.
